Meet the Speaker

Janine is a service designer and UX designer with over five years experience in various roles. As a service designer, she has taken on projects from many industries, including government, education and insurance, where she has led UX research to in understand user experiences and optimize critical business processes.

Janine's expertise also extends to UI/UX design, where she has developed and maintained design systems, ensuring cohesive user experiences across different platforms. Janine approaches design from all facets, integrating empathetic problem-solving, rigorous user-centric research, and a steadfast dedication to crafting products that are visually captivating and functionally impactful.

Janine has a Bachelor of Industrial Design with an impressive list of awards and distinctions from Carleton University. Some of her most notable clients include Reebok, Bombardier, the City of Calgary, and the Department of Canadian Heritage.
