Alex is the Director of User Experience at Hudson's Bay Company (The Bay, Saks). Alex has been working in software design for over 12 years, designing and strategizing digital products and offerings for Fortune 500 companies – successfully managing and building teams to deliver high performance, complex product and service offerings.


Alex is a design leader, mentor, and educator who inspires individuals and teams to achieve their best work. He has been teaching, mentoring and coaching throughout his career, has built UX learning curriculum for career colleges and universities, and works professionally as a UX Career Coach and product advisor for startups. 

Founder of the Makeshift Collective, a Toronto-based collective of artists, designers, and fabricators.
